Description

The Love Mural Festival Methodology is a participatory artistic and educational process that uses painting to encourage creative expression and connection with the local community.

The methodology includes a series of painting workshops where children explore themes, issues and concerns that are important to their community. Through painting, they observe their surroundings, share their ideas and express their views through visual art.

The ideas and images developed during the workshops become part of the mural. The mural is started together with the children and is then completed by the artist, bringing their contributions together in a shared public artwork.

The methodology was developed through the «Love Mural Festival», a community-based artistic project that brings children, artists and the local community together through painting and mural creation. Visit the Love Mural Festival project page to explore the project, its development and the murals created through the process.
